This policy explains what Pool Water Penguin ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and request a quote, how we use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, optional street address, and the details of your job (what you are filling, size, fill type, access, preferred date and notes).
- Partly completed quotes: if you type an email or phone number into the quote form but do not submit it, we may save what you entered so far so we can help finish your request.
- Technical data: pages visited, the page you arrived on, campaign tags in the link (such as utm or click ids), browser type, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address used to stop spam.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote and arrange your delivery.
- To contact you about your request by email, and by text message only if you tick the text consent box.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to understand which pages and ads help people.
Who we share it with
- The local water hauler we line up for your job: the details they need to quote and deliver (for example name, phone, address, job details).
- Service providers who run this site for us, such as hosting, database and email delivery, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
- Analytics and advertising tools if enabled on this site, to measure visits and conversions.
- When required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
We only text you if you opt in on the quote form. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of getting a quote.
Cookies and similar technology
The site uses browser storage to remember where you arrived from during your visit and to keep the quote form working. If analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity) are enabled, they set their own cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and contact records for as long as needed to provide the service, handle follow-up questions, and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Use our contact form to make a request.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our systems. No website can be perfectly secure. We never ask for card numbers on this website.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
